great
The environment is elegant and beautiful, but the seats near the window are close to each other. Although there is no time limit, the high-decibel chat of the guests during the visit to the meal in the afternoon can't wait for a long time.
TLDR: we got food poisoning here. And before that set in, we were disappointed by everything we ordered. The sandwich didn’t taste very good, the tea was average, the scone was not a scone, and the “cream cheese” was basically sweet whipped cream??! Definitely very far from cream cheese. Plus everything was really pricey! I was going to give two stars for at least the nice interior, but: my friend and I both felt nauseated the rest of the day after eating here. Something was off. My guess is it was the soft boiled egg 🤢
The tea was great, staff super helpful, and they had interesting tea related items.
ASW TEA HOUSE
Cool decor and great tea! Let our group of friends have the entire top floor for our gathering!
A place with a great atmosphere, whether it is a gorgeous book wall or a bar, it is a tea house during the day and a bar at night. It is worth visiting.
If I could give zero, I would. I recently came back from England from study abroad to visit my family and friends. A few days ago (April 13), at around 3:30pm, we went shopping nearby and I was tired. We tried finding a cafe close by so I could rest my legs and this was the closest one. When we went to the counter one of the women asked how many people there were. We said one and I think the waitress assumed it was my mom and not me since my mom was the one asking. The woman said there wasn’t any seats and we didn’t have enough people even though there was a table for four in the back. Shortly after that we just left. Her attitude was snobbish and the fact that they turned down one customer solely so they could fill up all tables with how many chairs they had is exceedingly unprofessional. I’m so disappointed: I thought Taipei was a city renowned for friendly people and I know their service can be top notch.
This place is nice - vintage and relax. But there is only one thing that need to improve is no plenty of food/drink we can choose.
The British-style decoration is very retro, and you can take a lot of net beauty photos 🤣The clerk was very caring. After the meal was delivered, he helped us to arrange all the meals. People could not help taking a few more photos before they started eatingThe point is coming, the Scong Cake ⋯ the original Scong Cake is delicious and explodes. It belongs to a relatively soft and moist enough. The hard and dry food that I usually eat is suitable for my appetite. The fresh cream spread and orange jam are even better. Well, another Qingwulong Sikang is okay and will look forward to a little more tea fragrance. In short, I really like this store, I will want to come again next time~~~
Nice beautiful place and their tea is very good I would go there again!
Lack of food supply. Noon and all food sold out.
I accidentally got an extra tea set....
Nice atmosphere, but the desserts were quite disappointing.
Great service
An English cafe in Dihua New Year’s Old StreetHave to take the stairs to the second floorNot many seatsTheir scones are delicious! Very suitable for a leisurely afternoon tea
Great selection of good tea. Only downside is you have to buy one pot per person. This can get pricey. Tea pots range from 250 to 400 + 10% service charge.
There is a tasteful tavern in Dihua New Year Old Street, which has a nostalgic sense of age ~ suitable for friends who like to taste whiskey and brandy, but it is strongly recommended that the combined taste of the wine can be given a little more 🤣🤣 or else it will be served Already see the bottom of the cup 😂
Pleasure service & nice tea!
ASW Tea house combines Taiwanese tea collections with British vintage decoration. It locates on the 2nd floor of A.S. Watson & Co building. For people who travel to historical Dadaocheng area, it is a nice location for having a cup of tea.
We stopped at ASW tea house for an afternoon tea from a very long walking day. Couldn’t believe that a cold brew tea could give us strength for the rest day. We’re not much of a tea drinker, but it was very smooth and smell really nice.
The nice tea shop on the 2nd floor
A hidden gem in tucked inside a historical building. Tastefully renovated with a good selection of tea and Taiwan craft beer. Be warn, the tea set is a little big, so you might consider sharing.
員工態度超級好,也不會過於熱情,給人的感覺很棒茶很棒,連水都有淡淡的茶香這次點了茶酒,味道很棒,茶香很特別,酒精濃度很高但是不會讓人不舒服,很推薦來品酒看看
Really great tea house.
Beautiful place for a bite and tea. Great selection of teas. Interior is beautiful.
Good tea and beer, but somewhat expensive
Charming tea house in a privileged spot in Dadaocheng
